SOLAR ON THE HORIZON

Texeleco, Inc. is currently certified to install Solar PV systems in the GVEC and PEC distribution area.  Guadalupe Valley Electrical Cooperative has just implemented a $2.00/watt rebate program (up to $8,000).  We are in the process of completing certification requirements to install and maintain solar PV systems in the Austin Energy Distribution area. Uncertified installers often do not qualify for local and federal incentive programs, which costs clients more.  PV technology has come a long way in a short time and there is ample opportunity to drastically reduce monthly energy bills, if not turn a profit from larger systems.  Designs can range from smaller systems running irrigation pumps to large arrays capable of running most houses during the day while charging batteries for use at night.  The sky's the limit, really.  So let's start thinking green with energy conservation and a little extra green in your pockets.
